Tyranids Hormagaunt Brood

Resin isn't my preferred material; plastic is much better to use. But the important thing is that the quality of these casts matched all my existing plastic hormagaunts. Very little cleanup was required. Took about 3 weeks to arrive in Australia with standard shipping.

These models have good detail, but do require a bit of work from a flash brush to clean up, as they are resin, which is generally a worse material to work with
But remember
Do not cut off the stems of the neck like I (stupidly) did

I mixed them into my legit gaunts and now can't tell them apart

All great a bit of clean up. Be careful with the feet cause they can break rather easily.

Apart from a few gaunts with clean up needed the majority were spot on perfect, didn’t come with toxic sacs, extended carapace or adrenal glands though. Other than that they were brilliant

Very impressed with the detail and quality, I'm not sure how it compares to the normal kit but once glued they're a little brittle; one snapped at the ankle when dropped from table height to the floor but they're super thin pieces so would expect this from genuine plastic sprue.

Same as original. Little mouldline cleaning. Worth every penny.
